It is a fresh scent that seems to last all day but by no means is over powering.

Here are some other positive reviews from Basenotes:

From: Shade
Very inoffensive and pleasent scent. This can be worn anywhere for anything and people around you wont mind being close. I can’t believe the lasting power and sillage on this. Very powerful indeed. I really do not see anything negative about this, and I am a very opened minded and diverse person in regards to fragrances. I own bottles of Polo Green to Quorum Silver to Gaultier 2 to Givenchy Pi to several versions of the Kouros family. Anything negative about this fragrance is obviously from people who just like one particular type and stick with it. In that case, why bother trying a clean, fresh, powerful and long lasting (I’m talking 8hours so far and sillage is still boasting) scent?

From first blast you get the bergamot and orange peel and they mix well for hours. After about 4hours of the spray, I detect the ivy creeping around and mixing with the other two. I can’t really say when I started noticing the rosemary which crept up a while after (just recently in regards to time), but the other notes are still there…they probably ended up developing into the rosemary. I can detect sandalwood however, it is not sharp, it is actually soft.

It doesn’t smell cheap but you can buy it cheap. And for what you get, I’ll be buying more of this.

A quick check of pricing shows it is 30.57 at amazon with free shipping and 39.99 at Scent.net for the Chrome 3.4 oz.

When I first sprayed this on, I found it very overpowering. It immediately made my eyes run, made me sneeze, and I could feel a headache coming on – to me it smelt incredibly strong and spicy. I tried to wash it off, but just couldn’t get rid of the smell – I decided that this would be another one to sell on e-bay!
But after about an hour it began to settle down, and the lovely soft vanilla began to come through. After another hour I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist (without any adverse reactions) – it smelt so enticing – soft and comforting – and this lovely phase seemed to last for hours.

Now I love Addict, but I am very careful how I apply it. I try to apply it very sparingly, and do not take any big sniffs until it has settled down. I tend to spray it on just before I go outside, so I don’t get too overwhelmed by the initial powerful burst. It is worth it for the lovely, lingering vanilla phase after the perfume has settled down. I would highly recommend this perfume, but use it sparingly, and if you are prone to allergies or asthma, be careful.

This scent is smooth, attractive and rich. Enjoy my friends.

This scent is masculinity in the modern era. As a young man of 22 I consistently am disappointed with scents labeled as masculine containing a gluttonous amount of either spice or musk. Now, is masculinity therefore defined by a scent that does not attract women, and, simply, smells old? Can a truly masculine scent live within the context of our modern era?

Blue Jeans is one of the few that I have found to fill that void. I relate a story with the hopes that its content does not deter the oh-so-eager to vaunt the price or status of their chosen cologne. If it does, your loss. That being said, I shall continue.

I work as a waiter at the Olive Garden and often find myself serving young couples on a date. The continuum of fragrances is astonishingly small and, as most have observed, is dominated by soapy, fresh scents (wimpy). The one gem that I have smelled in my time working there has been the cologne (which I later discovered is indeed Blue Jeans) worn by not a customer but one of the bussers. I am willing to concede that it is the imagine of this man that gives this scent its clear image of masculinity. I will try, as objectively as I can, as a heterosexual male, describe this man. He is Latin-American in heritage and probably in his late 40’s and contains a thick accent. His worn expression is of rugged passion and a calmness exhibited only by the heroic. Having work-worn hands, a thick stature and a sweaty brow he captures the exotic and romantic aspect of masculinity, less the -Marlboro Man- lameness.

This scent is smooth, attractive and rich. Enjoy my friends.

What can be said that hasn’t been already? A timeless classic that still is a number one seller over 80 years after its launch in 1921.
Created by Earnest Beaux, No.5 was the first perfume ever created using so much Aldehydes, which gives the fragrance its sparkle. Legend has is that Beaux presented Chanel with ten fragrances to choose from. (Or so the story goes…) Chanel chose perfume number five, hence the name.
